The law firm has a strong background in complex commercial, environmental and construction litigation. Over the past several years it has drawn upon its prior legal experience to concentrate its efforts towards addressing the firm’s clients’ legal needs involving family and divorce, employment and real estate matters.

The firm has significant experience in the field of solid waste regulatory and litigation actions which ranges from the collection of host community benefit fees on behalf of one of New Jersey’s largest cities to the institution of an appeal involving a 8.3 million dollar solid waste disposal rate dispute case. The firm has also been involved in a number of environmental spill and clean-up cases venued within the State of New Jersey where it represented alleged potentially responsible parties.

The firm has represented owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in a host of lawsuits arising out of contractual disputes that occurred during the construction of both private and public ventures. One of the more prominent legal actions handled by the firm involved a 12.5 million dollar construction claim for delays, cost overruns and other incidental damages concerning the construction of a state of the art water treatment plant.

The attorneys associated with the firm have a combined total of over 45 years of experience handling claims and Prerogative Writs brought against public entities under the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1. et seq., ranging from bid submission and opening disputes, challenges brought by unsuccessful and allegedly non-responsive bidders, to contract awards claimed not to have been incompliance with the Act. The firm also served as co-counsel in a multi-million dollar challenge to the award of a sludge disposal contract by a waste water treatment facility.

The members of the firm represented a municipality involved in substantial real estate redevelopment activities which included but was not limited to eminent domain and condemnation matters, presenting applications before that municipality’s Central Planning Board seeking declarations of “areas in need of redevelopment” and approval of “redevelopment plans”, and litigating disputes that arose out of the municipality’s redevelopment efforts.

In order to preserve the confidences of our family and divorce, employment and real estate clients our experience relative to these practice areas is generally described on their corresponding pages within this website.
